Julian Perez-Barrios, MD

Dr. Perez received his medical degree from UCV-Escuela Luis Razetti de Medicina in Caracas, Venezuela. He completed his residency in internal medicine at UCV-Hospital Dr. Domingo Luciani in Caracas, serving as chief resident, and completed his fellowship in gastroenterology there as well. After moving to Philadelphia, Dr. Perez completed an additional residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Dr. Perez is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. During his career, he has been a frequent presenter at national meetings and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the American College of Gastroenterology Abstracts.
