James R. Torrico, PA

Physician Assistant-Certified

James R. Torrico, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant who joined Gastroenterology Associates of SW Florida in September 2012. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991 and served in the US Army and civilian workforce prior to completing the Physician Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in 2012, earning a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies.

James has enjoyed a varied career including NCO and commissioned officer service in the US Army, Production Manager at Frito-Lay, Professional Search Consultant, and Sales and Marketing Director for a medical device manufacturer. PA Torrico is very active in the local PA education community, taking on students for clinical rotations in Gastroenterology, and is an Adjunct Professor at both the FGCU and NSU PA Programs in Fort Myers. He works with Dr. Brian Feiock and is accepting new patients. When he is not working, he is very active with his family, travels, likes to cook, and maintains physical fitness. In his remaining “free time”, he collapses from exhaustion.
